New Orleans

Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, we found ourselves in one of the coolest cities I have ever been in. I would go back to New Orleans in a heartbeat! WE did go to Bourbon Street on Saturday night, because you have to! The kids got to see a bunch of cool street musicians and performers, and witness a real New Orleans wedding jazz parade right down the middle of Canal Street. I just fell in love with the architecture. This was one of my favorite buildings.

We got to attend 10:00 mass at St. Louis Cathedral...very impressive! Loved the awesome organ music and choir.

In front of the Cathedral.

Statue of Andrew Jackson.

Didn't have enough time to take a carriage ride, but we will next time.

The founder of New Orleans.

LOVE the flags!

The lounge at our hotel.

Gray and Jack at the jazz musician's statue garden.

A street performer 'statue' on Bourbon Street.

More to come...D
