Some of you may be wondering how I have time to update the blog during the day. Do I work at all? Fear not, I assure you I am at work. Being in a leadership position, I have the 'luxury' of being a participant in numerous conference calls every week. Because I am Delivery, my status is usually one of the first things on each agenda. I have my 10 minutes in the spotlight, and then I go on mute and listen for the next 50 minutes or so. Or like now...I am listening to a live webcast of the D&B 2008 earnings call...again, a required meeting. Since I am not a big wig at JP Morgan Chase or Bank of America, I will not be asking any questions, just listening. So I catch up on email, check on my team via Instant Messenger, and talk to my family. But if blogging were a paid full time job, I would consider it...
