Photos from Camp

Don't get too excited about seeing some footage and good shots from the week's activities. Gray came home with a camera full of 205 pictures of her face laughing, her face funny, her friends' faces, etc. This is her reuniting with Katrina from Batesville, her cabin buddy from 2 years ago.

This was the note her cabin counselor, Bubbles, left on their door when they missed cabin cleanup inspection. I thought it was clever. You can click on the picture to make it bigger to read the writing.

Love on the archery range.

Thought this was a beautful picture of Gracie. She looks happy and content.

Her buddies - from left is Rebecca from Clarksville, TN, then Abigail from Dardanelle, Katrina, and Gray.

Bubbles and Rebecca.

We droppped Jackson off yesterday. Eager to see him on Wednesday! Check later for pictures from our end of season softball swimming party!

While Gracie is away...

...Jackson DOES play! Photos courtesy of the wonderful Rose. He is attending golf camp this week and having a blast! Nice form. He says it is his sport because it doesn't require running and he has the wardrobe for it. They played a game today where their teacher drives around in the field in a golf cart and they all tee off and try to hit him. Guess who nailed him?!?! Rose said Jack was jumping up and down! Too bad camp is just for a week. I would suspect Pete may be re-joining the country club in the future... And here he is waiting for his swim camp to begin. He is doing a swim camp 3 days a week for 6 weeks and loving it. He whispered in my ear (because he doesn't want anyone to know and doesn't want to compete with Gracie) that he IS a swimmer. I went ahead and purchased jammers/trunks for him that are black with an orange strip down the side...JUST in case. (AquaKids colors) On that note, guess who else is swimming 3 days a week? Our very own Pete Karl joined the adults masters program. He said his back has never felt better!

Our daredevil going off of the high dive. I always cover my eyes when I am there and he does this, which he loves.

AND...Rose is taking him to Taco Bell for lunch today. Life is good for Jacko.

Lydia's Wedding

On the way to Mountain Home, AR for Lydia's wedding. She is one of our after school babysitters. Gracie had a first - drinking a red Coke out of a real glass bottle!

Gray, Jack, and Moriah, one more of our wonderful babysitters.

The beautiful bride - the new Mrs. Brad Hardin!

Check out the view of Lake Norfolk behind us - gorgeous! The wedding itself was just next to us where you see that guy standing.

Our girls, the payroll of Team Karl - Moriah, Lydia, and Rose! It is such a blessing to find young, energetic, Christian women who care for our kids almost as much as we do!

LOVE this picture!

More updates to come on final softball games and Jack's swim camp...D
