In the laundry room...no beer

So if you happen to be watching the Weather Channel this evening, you will see that Arkansas is dominating the coverage. We are not out of the woods yet, but we have been in the laundry room five times since 5:00, due to the sirens going off.

Roll call earlier was as follows...Denise, Rose, Jackson, Gracie, Kelsey, Kelsey's mom, Madison, Riley, Daisy, Bo.

Where was Pete? Standing on the front porch, beer in hand...no yellow helmet, Dad.

Daisy is hunkered down in the toilet paper cabinet...D

HE IS RISEN

Easter blessings to all! Here are my two little bunnies posing next to our St. Matthew Alleluia cross. We had a white cross covered in chicken wire, and everyone was supposed to bring 1 cut flower with them to church. We began the service with a resurrection ceremony where two trumpeters played hymns while we all went up and placed our flower on the cross. We think it turned out pretty awesome!! A new tradition for St. Matt's...

Pork tenderloin, hash brown casserole, orange scented green beans, deviled eggs, rolls, and cupcakes at 4:00...come hungry...D

New little brown furry fun in the house

First of all, I had to post this picture of my gorgeous viny yellow stuff. We never got to enjoy this last spring because our hail storm stripped all of the flowers. I love how it looks a little out of control. The blooms are like tiny roses. And yes, Bo will be featured in all of these pictures.
What a cutie! And his little 'dognaps' don't last long, but when he is out, he is out! And...he has slept all night in his kennel every night so far, without much whining at all. We have new fun in the house. THIS new fun can be defined as keeping all doors to carpeted areas closed, putting Tabasco on our socks and pant legs when little teeth come out, and helping Pete locate where Bo is in the house, since his favorite place to snooze is under the piano, and he blends right in.

We have had beautiful weather all weekend! Jackson had an all day play date with his best bud Elijah yesterday that involved 4 different Conway parks. He even came home with a little sun burn. First softball practice today in about 45 minutes. Gracie has 1 section to go on her confirmation study guide and then we start drilling. She goes in front of the elders on Saturday the 16th at 4:00 and will be confirmed on Sunday the 17th, Palm Sunday. She is also getting her braces put on this Thursday!!!!!! I will be sure to post before and after shots.

Both kids had outstanding report cards...D
