Cruise Part II
Welcome to our cabin - a room no larger than Jack's bedroom at home. Fully equipped with a king size bed, and two twin bunks that pull out of the wall like shelves.
Best things about the cabin: kids had their own beds, the linens and mattresses were seriously awesome!, the toilet was powered by jet propulsion (think airplane toilet), the shower was always hot, plush robes, rooms were cleaned twice a day with turndown every night with pillow chocolates, daily towels folded into neat creatures.

The Deer Report
Well...this pretty much sums up the great Youth Hunt weekend. Pete was on the other couch doing the same thing shortly after arriving home on Saturday night.
Recap...they left Friday afternoon, spent the night in tents/van (it got down to 19 degrees), saw plenty of deer but Gracie could not get a good shot off. Our friend Cameron, who is 9, got a shot off. Everyone trailed it for a couple of hours (including Jack on his hands and knees in the woods, looking for blood), but they never found it.
I, however, was awoken Saturday morning at 3:00 am by a 4 pound Yorkie who was twice her normal size. The reason? My hunters, in their haste, left a full pack of hot dog buns in Daisy's reach, which she squirreled away under the living room coffee table. I discovered a torn plastic bag, crumbs all over the rug, and 1 bun left....yes, 1 bun left, out of 8.

October Fun
The front pumpkin was a battery powered bubble machine, which our littlest trick or treaters loved!
Riley as a ladybug, Gracie and Maygan as rappers, Madison as a Twister board, and Jack, the Mad Hatter.
