Birthday Beauty

So for those of you (like myself and my mom) who might be struggling with the fact that Little Gray is really 12, get a load of these...rare pictures of her with her hair down.
She looks so 'teen' to me...D

Recap of Dallas

This picture should actually be at the end of the post. This about sums it up as we crammed as much as we could into the weekend.

Gracie, checking her iPod.
Here was a cool car we saw parked in the Aquarium lot. Jack's friend Maddie is crazy about frogs, so we took this for her.

Two cuties in the rain forest.
See the neat waterfall in the background.

We loved watching the sea otters show off through the glass. They put on quite a show.

Now THAT's a catfish!

Notice Gracie posing on one leg like the flamingos. Doubt any of the birds were throwing up the peace sign, however.

And for those of playing along from a previous post, the kids are posing on the grassy knoll in Dealy Plaza. Just ahead of that white car is a white X painted on the street, noting where President Kennedy was shot in the motorcade. The book depository, where the museum and tour was, is the brick building on the left side of the picture with the windows across the top. The tour was pretty cool and the kids learned a lot.
Check back for more....D

Successful Season Opener

Gracie had a great short course season opener this weekend. She dropped time in all of her events (except for getting DQed on the backstroke), and posted a BB state time in the 50 breast! Off to a great start!

Let's Have a Parade!

The Faulkner County Fair Parade, that is. Recognize anyone you know, riding with Mr. Woodrow Cummins on his school float?

They won second place in the school category, and Jackson had a BLAST!
First short course swim meet of the season this weekend, G is pumped!
